The Ruby Tuesday

Juice Detox: Day Two (10am and 7pm) 

So refreshing! It’s pure bliss; the beetroot and carrot juice combined with sweet creamy pineapple juice, a slight hint of basil and a good kick of ginger. You gotta love it!


  • Pineapple, ½
  • Carrots, 2
  • Raw red beet, 1
  • Raw ginger, 1-2 cm
  • Fresh basil, 4 springs


Easy peasy: juice all the ingredients together but make sure you put the basil in between everything to ensure maximum juice extraction. 

Health benefits of Ruby Tuesday

Beetroot has high levels of nitrate, keeping the blood vessels dilated – which means that high blood pressure is reduced and stamina is improved.

The juice is also loaded with vitamin B, C, beta-carotene, calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium and potassium.
